Why no recent updates?

In case anyone wants to know, I've not updated this blog recently because I've not been well and have had very limited time and energy. What spare time and energy I have had I've devoted to the charity work I do; I'm the Newsletter Editor, website manager and also do other jobs for a cat rescue and rehoming charity here in Warwickshire.

Hopefully I'll be able to add more to this blog soon. I have been doing a little work on more French flags and uniforms but nothing is finished yet.

Take care of yourself and don't worry about getting anything posted here until you're ready.

  5. Your first priority is your own health, so take it easy. I've only got mild withdraw symptoms so I can hold out until you are feeling better.

  6. Take your time. Much as I enjoy and have used (a lot) of your work, your health is much more important than any blog.

    Best wishes

  8. Sorry to read you have not been well.Full recovering is the priority, of course. And the templates are a "*hobby* associated to a *hobby*", so -how much we all appreciate them- rank last among your activities, even the 'spare time' ones!
Actually I was suspecting a constraint from 'The Real World™' -as it's generally the case when one of us don't update his blog for long- and just hoped the matter was not too serious.
    Best wishes,
    Jean-Louis

  10. It has come to the attention of Reich Duke Wilhelm von Beerstein that his Royal Purveyor of Flags and Standards, Sir David Linienblatt, has taken ill. As a result, all army units are to immediately return one Flag or Standard to the national armory and to assign addition Sergeant Majors to color details until Sir David is restored to complete health. Our entire community wishes you a speedy recover.
    Very sincerely yours,
    Bill Walker

  16. David, I didn't realize you were a cat man too! I have three sons myself: Skipper, Commodore, and Captain Butler. Our boys were all rescues, so thanks for the special work you do.

  17. Thanks, Bill. Yes, they're wonderful creatures - although inclined to mischievousness... ;-) Our 3 are girls. :-)

Do you have any pictures of yours you can post, perhaps on your blog? I'd like to see them.

    All the best,

    David.

  18. I am a cat person, too. My long-haired orange cat, Killian, was also rescued froma shelter. Such an angel (when he's sleeping!). lol
Maybe the symbol for the Soweiter League should've been a golden lion... ;-)

  19. Only when the muse demands that you produce shall you *have* to put out more.

The body of werk here should stand on its own for now.

When your muse tells you, you will return.

Until then I am content to wait.

Thank you for the note about all your doings all the same.

  20. Hi FB,

Oh yes- golden lions sound splendid as a Soweiter League emblem. You really must do some flags with it! :-)

And your cat will be so impressed. ;-) Can we see a picture, please?

    David.
