Being a uniform and flag design service to wargamers and to the imaginary crowned heads of 17th and 18th Century Europe, especially of the Seven Years War period - now By Appointment to the Court of Saxe-Bearstein! (But please note that the uniforms and flags presented here are not fictional - they are genuine 17th and 18th Century uniforms and flags that are as authentic as I can make them from my sources.)

Thanks, Stokes. Yes, I think it was worth the effort! :-)
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
David.
That looks great! Your work keeps geting better and better.
ReplyDeleteSir David,
ReplyDeleteWhy do your plates look so much better than my painted figures? Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
"Plain infantry uniforms are a lot less fiddly and much less time-consuming to draw!"
ReplyDeleteAnd to paint! lol
Excellent work on the template and colored plate!
Thanks, Matthew. :-)

Thanks, Bill. Well, I personally find it much easier to draw templates than paint figures - at which I've always been fairly terrible. I think your figures look pretty good - you really wouldn't want to see what a mess I'd make of them! ;-)

Thanks, FB! :-) As I said to Bill, I'm a terrible figure painter - my plain *or* fancy uniforms would be awful if I tried painting figures. That's why I stick to templates...
