(But please note that the uniforms and flags presented here are not fictional - they are genuine 17th and 18th Century uniforms and flags that are as authentic as I can make them from my sources.)
This is an interesting shade of bluey-green (???).

ReplyDeleteIt's called "David's interpretation of the shade of blue shown in Niemeyer and Ortenburg's edition of the Gmundener Prachtwerk Manuscript on the Hanoverian Army of the Seven Years War" which is very different from the bright metallic blue that is often shown for these uniforms. :-)
