42nd Highlanders' Grenadier with tartan pattern

I shall eventually get round to a coloured version when I'm less sober but for now here's the long-awaited version of this template with outline tartan. It's larger than the normal template as otherwise the complex pattern of the tartan will not show.

The tartan pattern was a commission for Moshe a while ago.

  2. Excellent work!
I could see doing that tartan pattern could drive one to drink! (scotch, of course. ha ha)

  4. Hi Bill,

Thanks; may be a little while yet. :-)

    All the best,

  5. Thanks, FB. I don't actually like whisky - yes, weird, I know. ;-) So it will probably take a few glasses of rich syrupy golden dessert wine to get me ready to colour the tartan, heretical though that may seem. I hope it will be soon, anyway.

    Thanks for commenting.

    Cheers,

    David.

  6. Thanks, Ray. I did an outline template of the 78th Frasers Highlanders at about the same time as the 42nd but haven't done one of the 77th (yet, anyway). I'll certainly think about colouring the 78th template too, after I get the 42nd done.

    Cheers,

    David.
