Royal Navy Flag Officer, dress uniform waistcoat

Nice work, David. You have shown me something completely new, I had no idea that the white waistcoat was worn at such. It makes for a strangely stylish look for the RN!

Thanks, Jim. I agree the RN uniform of the period was stylish in its own way - certainly much more so than the modern one, I think! :-)
