I was previously working from secondary sources for the reverse of this standard but yesterday Frédéric Aubert posted a photograph of the reverse of the surviving standard on Facebook which showed how defective those secondary sources were. So I have now revised and improved it.
Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteWillz.

This does look better and once again, superb work on the graphics front David:).
ReplyDeleteThank you, Steve. I was lucky that Monsieur Aubert posted a photograph of the reverse of the standard so I could rejig the work properly. It is unusual for flags to survive from the period... :-)

Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jon. :-) Cavalry standards are a lot of work, though, considering how small they will be in use; I'm still a bit wary of doing too many as it's a very time-consuming rabbit hole to be sucked down into... ;-)

This one is really beautiful David
ReplyDeleteThanks, Chris. :-) It took long enough to do, I can tell you! Cavalry standards are so very time-consuming...
