Flags of Savoy 1693-1704: Battalion Flag of a British-Paid Protestant Regiment from the Triomphes Louis XIV 1690s

This seems to be a flag of a unit which was disbanded in the later 1690s. The heraldry is entirely British.

  2. Oh now I do love that flag, as it's such an unusual but brilliant design:). Another one added to my Monmouth Rebellion units.

    1. Thank you, Jon. :-) Decent heraldry always helps, I think, although it does add to the work involved...

      All the best,

      David.
