For Jean-Louis and Stagonian Jeff :-)

Just a little jest! :-)

  1. Remember . . . any jest at the expense of those vile Stagonians is a good jest.

  2. David,
how great & 'improved' the new hussar template may be, please do not delete the 1st one: it amply proved how useful it was, and still is! Besides, it offers a mirliton...

For the 'new' one, I know it corresponds to a specific historical regiment, but do the fur and boots really have to be black on the template itself? It would restrict its usefulness...

    Cheers,
    Jean-louis

  3. Hi Jeff,

Oh yes - I think we all realise that... ;-) (For some reason that reminds me of the film of the Germans goosestepping backwards and forwards...)

    All the best,

    David.

  4. Hi Jean-Louis,

I have no intention of removing the old hussar! I am going to do a version of the new hussar with mirliton, as the majority of the Prussian regiments wore it.

The black boots and fur are only there because they happen to be part of the initial drawing process; the Prussian Regiment No.2 actually had white fur on the pelisse.

    All the best,

    David.
