French Hussar Guidon 1758


This is the design of a guidon captured by the Prussian 5th Hussars from the French Polleresky Hussars in 1758.

Where did you find the info for this flsg? I have never seen an spanish flag with a sun. Are you sure about it?

The Spanish cavalry standards with the sun motif are in Stephen Manley's "Colours and Standards of the War of the Austrian Succession: Book IV Spanish Infantry and Cavalry 1739-1748", Potsdam Flags and Publications 1998, page 11, items 27-30.
